The civil engineering firm was founded in 2004 by Gretchen B. Clark, president, and Timothy C. Reynolds, vice president.
They located in rental space on Henry Street with a desire to provide faster and more personal service to municipal and private clients for civil engineering projects.

Earlier this year as their business outgrew the Henry Street location, they purchased a building on Main Street and are settling into their spacious new offices.

Clark introduced the employees: Patricia J. Reynolds, secretary/treasurer; Christopher D. Adcock, senior project manager; Aubrey J. Nuckols, wetland specialist, Kristy H. Wolfe, project manager, Judith C. Francis, engineering technician, and Stephenie B. Adams, office manager.

"We are excited to be in a small town like Gretna," said Reynolds. "We are happy to be a part of Pittsylvania County. We are county natives and blessed that we can stay here and make a iving.
"If you have never lived or worked in a small town it is pretty unique. We can go out the front door and walk to the bank, get our hair cut, or buy a screw at the hardware store next door.

"We can go out the back door and see the post office or walk to town hall. There are more than two places to eat within walking distance. It's just a different way and life and we love it."
